Chapter 4: Page 107
The treewalker chase may be over, but the treewalker hunt has just begun! After all, these massive carnivorous beasts are a historical scourge of the forests of both the Western and Eastern Deep, and the tamian scouts see it as their responsibility to stop them from encroaching on tamian lands.
To this end, even after a harrowing near-death experience like the one the group just experienced, Crim knows he can’t rest on his laurels. What would happen if this big, angry treewalker and its brood followed them closer to Terria? What if some unfortunate merchant ran into it weeks, even months later? No, the scouts have their job, and they’re going to carry it out!
We’re not quite ready to announce anything, but I would be remiss if I didn’t bring up our in-development adventure game, War of the Western Deep, and tease that we may have a fun announcement to offer sometime soon.
We’ve been working diligently on the game for the last few years, building fun storylines, gameplay mechanics, and new characters together to tell a brand-new story in the world of the Western Deep but also allow new players to experience our world for the very first time.
In other words, stay tuned! :)
THEY CAN NEVER MAKE ME HATE YOU CRIM <3
Ir would seem Quinlan has risen a notch or two in someone’s eyes.
I’m having trouble knowing who Crim is talking to in the last panel.
He’s asking for Quinlan, Dakkan or everyone’s help?
Considering the animosity between Quinlan and Crim in the past and the fact that Quinlan was able to hurt the treewalker despite having a bad shoulder, I’d guess Crim is talking to Quinlan.
They should kiss-
What who said that?
Must have been the wind
LOL
Okay I think we can all agree that this new Crim is kinda cool!
LOL
Sorry about that. That response was supposed to go to Teethburglar’s comment.
With the Treewalker critically injured in the last round, Crim and Quinlan choose to kick off this one with a combined attack! This is turning out to be all kinds of thrilling.
