NYCC!
Hi everyone! Short post this week, since Rachel and I are both at NYCC this weekend. This is the front-facing image for a set of promotional postcards we printed up for the show — we’re both pretty happy with the result!
Regular page updates will continue starting next Saturday, so enjoy the art for now!
Also remember, if you have any fan-art or other fan-works you’d like to share with us, you can send them directly to us at thewesterndeep (at) gmail (dot) com!
Oh wow, very nice. I like the detail of Quin getting a bit of a haircut XD
Quin, you need to stop having such close shaves. Also, lovely filler page today! Hope you guys keep having fun at Comic Con.
Foreshadowing?
(doubtful, but still…)
Nah, Dakkan will be alright, presuming he’s not moving in slow mo while everyone else is moving at regular speed.
Do I need to draw that martyr? No? Yeah, I don’t think I need to draw that martyr.
But what would Quin be? ;)
Otherwise a nice pic, but the weapon in Hardin’s right hand looks wonky. The blade seems to tilt at a wrong angle from the crossguard.
I think that might be the weapon design? It’s a curved handle, so the asymmetry probably continues into the cross guard. Actually, Quin’s hilt bothers me a bit more; it looks like it attaches to the blade off to the side, but that might just be the perspective. If it’s not, certainly not full tang!
Also, Hardin’s tattoos are looking particularly savage in this picture. And I really really like Quin’s outfit, and it’s nice to see so much if it at once.
I certainly hope it’s not full tang.
If it’s full tang then you can’t taste the other ingredients.
Wow, awesome picture! Something about it looks vaguely like the Lord of the Rings, but I’m not sure what.
You will pay me for your haircut.
It might not have been a new page, but this image is still awesome! Presumably symbolic, unless a battle between these characters really are coming up.
I still remember watching this on Wing’s computer. For some reason, it had trouble loading then :(
I LOVe it rachel !!! <3
