The Abyssal Dunes: Page 15
I am at Rose City Comic Con this weekend with The Scholar and the Seawal artist, Leah Briere!
You can find us both in Artist Alley, KK-05!
Because of that, this will be a pretty short post. But suffice it to say, Cain is definitely wishing he could’ve stayed in the dark on this one. Unknowingly hanging out for a while on top of a mound of decayed skeletons isn’t his idea of a good time. Yurk seems to be taking it all in stride, which is good! Because when your adventure starts on a pile of corpses…
There’s a saying in there somewhere. I’ll just go with: “It’s probably not going anywhere that great.”
Here’s another OutfitAugust sketch from Rachel, by the way!
This piece was inspired by the prompt “videogame”! Now, Quin’s tesque outfit may be a bit simple compared to his royal guard uniform, but in terms of classic iconic fighting game characters, I’d say he actually looks like he could be the Ryu or Haohmaru of the awesome new SNK/Capcom/Midway/Sega AM2-developed arcade cabinet: BATTLES OF THE WESTERN DEEP!
Love Quinlan’s digs and the energy of the piece, Rachel!
See you all next week–OR AT ROSE CITY COMIC CON! :D
Priceless facial expressions!
I like how Yurk goes from sassy to concerned within one sentence. He’s a good friend!
Hrmm, this chapters raises so many questions about Vulpin burial practices. Hopefully we will get some answers but for now lets just get our intrepid duo out of that hole in the ground.
I am excited that I came across your table. Book one was fantastic and I already ordered book two. Look forward to more to come.
