Beyond the Western Deep

This one was just too perfect to not post on Valentine’s Day, I think! Leah Briere really wanted to do a Bevan-themed print for our Volume 2 Kickstarter, and it turned into this absolutely adorable piece of him sharing a cup of coffee/tea/soup/cocoa/(insert hot liquid here) with Eira.

Obviously we seeded some stuff in Chapter Two and Three with these two, but Bevan’s just a naturally charming fellow when he’s not off murdering people–so this could really have happened at any point.

Do you like these pencils, by the way?

While Leah colored the featured print digitally, the pencils were done with actual PENCILS, which means this is a real piece of one-of-a-kind art that you could own. We’ll be releasing it as a pledge tier in the Kickstarter campaign–obviously with just a single backer having the opportunity to give the above pencils a brand new home.

Next week we’ll have a page of Abyssal Dunes ready to go for you, along with a final last bit of Kickstarter teasing (I’m sure you’re all excited to see our enamel pin design!) before we spend the weekend before our Kickstarter launch giving you the FULL CAMPAIGN DOWNLOAD.

That’s right, on the the 29th of February, four days before our campaign officially launches, we’re going to share the full pitch video and reward list here first. You’ll get the opportunity to see what the full list of pledge rewards will be before anyone else, which should give you all a head start when the campaign goes live first thing on March 4th!
