Bevan may not have any qualms sticking a dagger into a canid soldier’s neck, but he will NOT stand idly by and let Rhosyn’s pinpoint accuracy be slandered! That’s just a step too far, apparently.

Hardin DID call Rhosyn “her tribe’s best shot,” but really she’s among the finest marksermehn in the Wastes. As we saw in Chapter 2 when she and Bevan were having a little friendly competition, Rhosyn’s aim is nigh impeccable, so clearly any shot that didn’t outright kill Quinlan during their Deltrada attack had to have been intentional right?

Well, if you trust Rhosyn and Bevan, that mystery can be put to rest! Clearly Rhosyn feels a little bad about the whole thing too–and maybe a little miffed that her favor to Quinlan isn’t being reciprocated. Like “Hey, I could’ve sent that bolt through your eye, I didn’t, and my reward is apparently a whole lot of you being ungrateful and also sarcastic.”

SO, how has everything else been going?

Well, we’re still trucking away on a few Western Deep projects, including War of the Western Deep, the action-adventure hybrid game that we’ve teased a few times before. I don’t have major updates we’re comfortable sharing, but I will say the pitch we’ve been building for the game and the team we’ve been assembling for it are giving me a lot of reasons to be positive.

The Kickstarter for Volume 3 is still coming, but we’ve pushed it back a bit more to give the deliverables from Music of the Western Deep time to breathe. We’re aiming to have the digital album ready to go in the next month or so–keep your eyes peeled for new information there via Kickstarter updates!

And that’s it for now :) See you all next time!
